It’s official now. We are having one beautiful and healthy baby boy! /love
I’ve had my ultrasound check yesterday and it was more than obvious that it’s a boy. /giggle
Also, just recently, I started to feel his moves and with every day they are stronger and more frequent.
I really can’t wait to meet him!

Occasionally, it’s fun to take tests like this one. According to this one, I am a little geek ;;)
How about you?

Since baby is still too small, but is growing fast in mommy’s tummy, s/he still can’t get words spread out, but there are things s/he wants us to get her, so I should start making a list and hope that some of our nice family members will see it and decide to make our lives a little bit easier by shortening the list. :D
1. A camera - baby wants her life documented, from the very beginning so we need a nice digital camera to be able to do that.
2. Dishwasher - well I know, you would say that we will need to wait at least 15 years baby to grow up to figure out how to use one, but really, this is because baby wants to spend lots of time with mommy and mommy won’t have time to wash her dishes by hands.
3. DVD player - yes, baby wants her mommy and daddy to be relaxed around her, so from time to time, her parents will need to watch a movie.
4. New desktop computer x2 - one for mommy and one for daddy. Yes, baby doesn’t want mommy and daddy to be mad and nervous since their computers became very slow and are ancient old, so s/he wants them to have new, speedy ones.
5. New laptop for mommy - when mommy becomes big (and this will happen in no time, trust me), she won’t be able to sit in front of her desktop computer very often, so she will need new laptop to be able to update her blog and let people know of baby’s growth.
6. New comfy desktop chair - yes, this is a must for a mommy. Baby doesn’t want mommy to have back pain.
To be continued…

… run for your lives.
Seriously. I thought women exaggerate how hormones can take over you, but in last few days, I am simply unbearable. Everyone and everything annoys me.
My work annoys me, since I am barely keeping up with it due to my ‘all the time’ sleepiness. Getting up five times per night to go to the bathroom annoys me as well, because usually the last time I get up is around 5am and I find it very difficult to fall asleep again which, of course, occurs around 6am anyway, but makes getting up around 8 a nightmare.
My closest ones annoy me. They are all happy and wish me the best, but I don’t need to be reminded of that million times a day, thank you.
Housework annoys me, because I have no time for it at all and even when I do find some free time, I’m in bed, sleeping.
Don’t get me wrong, being pregnant is a unique experience and thinking of a little baby growing inside you is simply wonderful, but when those less pleasant things hit me, I bite.
I’ve heard that second trimester is the best one, so wish me luck to get through those remaining 10 days of first one.

Note: Some of those words are written few weeks ago, but since it was too early, I’m publishing them now.
Few weeks ago, on 5th October, out of the blue I decided to take a pregnancy test (even though I promised to myself that I won’t be doing them that month). I was kind of sorry for that little test to have to wait for one more month to be used. I was already heavily PMSing, but I took it, 3 days earlier, in the afternoon (none of those things are recommendable in the instructions, but who really follow these things?!). After around 5 minutes, I thought I saw something, something that might indicate a test line. It was so faint that I don’t think other would see it, but I did, I saw that invisible line which could indicate that someone is actually trying to rent a room in me. After an hour of constantly looking into that ‘almost impossible to see’ line, I ran to the drug store to get another test. Took another one and invisible line showed up again (in my head).
Next few hours I spent comparing tests and trying to prove to myself that test lines are visible and clear. After I calmed down, I’ve decided not to rush things and wait until Monday (it was Friday) for another test. Of course, on Monday I had already taken total of 5 tests and it was kind of obvious that I’m pregnant.
My blood test on Tuesday finally confirmed that I have a roommate. :)
So, around that time it all began: mood swings, sleeping for 10 people, eating and crying even on tv commercials, going to bathroom very VERY often and so on.
Anyway, this tiny fella is now around 12mm long and his heart is beating which I saw on the ultrasound this Monday!
Holly cow, I’m gonna be a mom! :D

Is it some kind of rule that I should get sick only on weekends?
I was really looking forward to the weekend and what happened is that I woke up Saturday morning with sore throat and nose full. I tried to ignore that fact and just continued my day like nothing happened, hoping it will go away the same way it hit me, but with every hour, it got worse and finally in the afternoon and I just had to go to bed.
It’s been always like that. While I was in school I would usually get sick during weekends or worse, during summer or winter holidays. I was sure It had to be some kind of set up. I’ve never managed to find the evidence, but it must have been some kind of conspiracy deal between my school teachers and my parents. There is no better explanation really. Those people are only ones that didn’t want me to miss school classes, while I thought being sick during school time is like a little holiday for every kid.
Now, it must be my boss. I don’t know how he’s doing it, but I blame him. Maybe he talked to my teachers.
Being sick really sucks. Being sick over the weekends is a nightmare. I’m going back to bed.

Just 10 days ago, I was annoyed because it was still too hot and temperature in my apartment was over 30°C which makes working and living in general quite difficult. During whole day I would try to find the best solution to lower the temperature or to make myself a little bit more comfortable, bu none of the methods were successful and I actually was looking forward to the autumn.
Be careful what you wish for, they say. Apparently I wasn’t, because we now have cold and freezing November at the beginning of the September! Morning temperature is around 7-8°C and in my apartment, it is barely 20-21°C. Now I have to dig all of my winter clothes and wear them inside because there’s still whole month before the heating starts.
Luckily, it’s Saturday and while my worst decision I made today was to get out of the bed in the morning, there is still time for correction and I’ll do my best to spend the rest of the day covered with blankets, watching TV and reading books. Sunday shouldn’t be much different, but Monday will spoil it all and make me work. Life is a weekly cycle.

I’m already so sleepy, but I really don’t want to miss to contribute to Blog Day 2007!
So anyway, here is my list:
1. squirrelism.net - a young girl from Belgrade/Serbia with a good sense of humor writes about random stuff. She dropped by my blog so that’s how I discovered her.
2. Head Rambles - He says for himself: Old, irascible, politically incorrect, a bit senile sometimes, juvenile at other times. But his writings are really worth reading!
3. Dave Cheong - I just recently subscribed to his blog. It seems he has lots of useful tips to share.
4. Blog by Bob - He doesn’t write very often, but I laugh hard on some of his posts.
5. Mooshema - Sorry folks, this is in Serbian. I would drop by her blog occasionally and always find something interesting to read.
There! I made it. It’s 15 minutes before midnight.
Au revoir!

Most of you already know that, but I was too busy to post here since I had to catch up with work and with some of my offline friends first.
We had such a great time and I really wished we could stay longer than 14 days! However, we already agreed that we are for sure going away during Christmas holidays. There are few months to decide on a destination. Any suggestions?
Anyway, the highlight of our vacation was a daily trip to Dubrovnik/Croatia. Old downtown of Dubrovnik is simply beautiful. It was firstly founded in 7th century and reconstructed again in 14th and 15th century. A wall was built around the city, so nowadays, tourists can walk on the wall and enjoy beautiful view on the city and the sea. Just to get you an idea how it looks like, here are few photos we took:

I hope you liked those. Those were my best pick between around 50 images I took there. :D
Oh, and one day during our lunch, this little fella came to visit us and say hello. He posed for few shots and flew away :)

Sooo, it’s time to get back to work and earn next vacation. :P

Believe it or not, the time has come for me to finally take vacation after 7 years and actually go somewhere. Most likely on Tuesday evening me and my man are taking a trip to Montenegro coast for 10 days.
I feel like a kid again, because I’m counting how many nights I still need to sleep before we leave (2 more).
My plans to do there:
10 Do nothing;
20 Swim in the sea;
30 Do nothing;
40 Sleep;
50 Goto 10;
Run
I’ll probably die without checking my email few times a day or talking to some of my online friends, so if you don’t hear from me in 2 weeks, that is what happened.
